SUPPORT AND TRAINING SPECIALIST

LAC Legal Staffing, formerly Strategic Staffing Associates, seeks an experienced Support and Training
Specialist.  This position provides first line end user floor, phone and remote support to all firm wide computer
users.  Primary staffing to the IT Department’s central IT help desk during core business hours (M – F, 9:00am –
6:00pm MST) and after hours emergency support pager (24 x 7) on a rotating schedule.  Answering of IT help
desk hotline and email account, call ticket logging, tracking, closing and reporting.  Provide primary support,
troubleshooting and resolution of problems, issues and requests initiated by end users related to all firm wide
standard desktop hardware and peripherals, firm wide enterprise software/applications, practice
software/applications and firm wide business processes dependent on technology.  Provide end user setup and
installation of firm wide standard hardware and software.  Facilitate escalation of problems, issues and requests
to other IT Department roles as required.  Trainer of end users in the form of one-on-one, new employee
orientation and group training related to firm wide enterprise applications (Windows XP, Microsoft Office, Payne
Templates, document comparison, WorlDox, Outlook, PDA usage and the intranet). Participation and contribution
to various IT Department projects and initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills and pleasant demeanor
Excellent customer service provider attitude
Prior law firm experience, minimum of two years
A minimum of 3 – 5 years in a computer end user support and training role
Excellent ability to multi task and follow through
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (XP Pro)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals
Excellent knowledge of document management and production
Working knowledge of networks and client/server technology
Demonstrated ability and skills to create training materials and conduct training sessions of computer
applications and technology
Motivated and accountable with excellent communication skills
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new technologies and skills
Must have the physical ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs
Proficient knowledge of law firm standard hardware, software and tools

Education and Certification:
Minimum of an Associates Degree, or two year advanced vocational technical training, or six years relevant on
the job work experience
MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional)

LITIGATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST

Prestigious Denver-based law firm seeking Litigation Technology Specialist to join its Litigation Technology
Services department.  This position supports attorneys and staff in numerous offices across the western United
States, and reports to the Litigation Technology Services Manager.  Qualified candidates must have a strong
background in the legal industry (specifically in litigation) and must also possess extensive technological skills
with regard to litigation support applications and practices.  Experience with load files, imaging, litigation support
databases, and electronic document productions is a must.  Experience with support and implementation of
litigation support applications such as Concordance, IPRO, LiveNote, CaseMap and Sanction is preferred.  
Bachelor’s degree is required and a paralegal certification is highly preferred.  Other duties include: Consulting
with legal teams regarding electronic discovery best practices, consulting on electronic case management and
workflow in relation to same; graphical assistance; coordination with vendors as needed; and providing training.
